Our mission at Carefree Speech is to empower clients of all ages to develop effective communication skills for full, meaningful participation in their lives. We embrace each client’s unique strengths to help them discover what truly makes them shine. Through our convenient telehealth model, we improve access to high-quality speech therapy and communication coaching services for adult clients across the United States.

Communication difficulties should never hold anyone back from living an engaging, rewarding life! Treatment sessions are functional and relevant to each client’s personal and/or professional goals.
Compassion. We offer a supportive, compassionate approach to therapy and coaching. Therapy sessions are a safe space, with clinicians and coaches trained in trauma-informed care approaches.
Our rates
Initial Assessment
Each client starts with an initial evaluation, which allows us to determine your specific strengths and areas for improvement. This 60-minute assessment includes an individualized written care plan outlining your individual goals.

Individual Sessions
Sessions start at 30 minute visits, typically held 1-2x/week. Appointments are conducted via safe, secure, HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing with a certified speech-language pathologist and communication coach. All sessions are customized to the client’s unique needs and goals. At-home activities are also provided between sessions.

FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept any insurance at this time, and all services are self-pay. Carefree Speech, LLC is considered an out-of-network provider. We are happy to provide you with a monthly invoice that can be submitted to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement for clinical services, if applicable.
In which states do you provide services?
We are licensed to provide online clinical speech therapy services in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. We are able to serve communication coaching clients throughout the entire United States.
Do you work with adults or children?
We specialize in serving adult clients with both clinical speech therapy and non-clinical communication and/or executive function needs. During your consultation, if we are not the perfect fit for your needs, we will gladly refer to another specialist!
What is your cancellation policy?
Consistent attendance is integral for making progress in our therapy and coaching programs. All cancellations must be submitted 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. A fee may be assessed if cancellations are made less than the required 24 hours or if the client fails to show up for a scheduled session.
Will I be locked into a contract?
Absolutely not! We want you to be satisfied with services and do not have contracts. You may elect to stop receiving services for any reason, but we do require 24 hours notice prior to a previously scheduled appointment.
Are the sessions confidential and secure?
Your privacy is our top priority! We use a teleconferencing software that is safe, secure, and HIPAA-compliant. Our platforms meet all federal requirements of confidentiality with the latest SSL encryption.
